If you feel like you are losing track of all your To Do’s, give this a try! I am a big fan of David Allen’s Getting Things Done Program. If you haven’t read any of the David Allen books, I highly recommend you do!
OmniFocus is a program that helps to grab all the thoughts you have and organize them by storing, managing and placing them into neat TO DO lists. As mentioned above, OmniFocus works well with Mr. Allen’s Getting Things Done Program, but it can also work well as a standalone task manager. Want to grow your business? OmniFocus will help you to work smarter and stay focused.
The program allows you to do a complete Brain Dump into the program. Last night I went through a trigger list which prompted me, helping me to get 47 tasks out of my brain and into the program in no time! YES 47! That in itself was a great feeling! Can you imagine how long it would take to jot down, then organize this many thoughts without any help?
You can then go in and decide what Project, Context and Dates need to be associated with these items. Each item has room for notes and attachments. This is the perfect program for list makers.
For Your Strategic Growth and Development, each of our clients has several projects that we need to tend to. Now those projects are organized according to Date and Context, ordering the tasks sequentially and more!
For Business Development, we put this program to work along with the Getting Things Done system with great success. The OmniFocus software is available for your iPad, iPhone and Mac and they do have a free 14 day trial.
We are a week into this new tool and I have to say I love this program on my iPad but am struggling a bit with the Mac version. Still, I highly recommend OmniFocus for those who want to organize their many thoughts, allowing them to stay focused on growing their business and managing those endless To Do lists.

Thank you for sharing the link, we will be sure to review your article and website!
I agree that Omnifocus is a great program for GTD users. Like you mentioned, the program on the Mac can be hard to use. The user interface is not the most user-friendly, but if you take time to learn the program inside-out, you can be really productive.
The learning curve is quite steep, that’s why my roommate and I have written an article series on how we use Omnifocus:

I bet once you have your setup, when you add your own custom perspectives you will love this program even more.
